Gemnet LLC is established in August 2008 to operate in the field of international and local information and communication networks and is the FIRST NATIONAL INFORMATION COMMUNICATION NETWORK OF MONGOLIA.
Gemnet owns and operates a 2*24 strand terrestrial fiber optic cables have 1,199km long DWDM network automatic shielded with SNCP and optical line along the railway from the Southern border of Mongolia to the northern border. It is based on 400Gb, 4Tb DWDM system and SDH 2.5Gb, OTN 10G has 99,9% reliable transmission networks that meet international and telecommunication standards with high-capacity telecommunications infrastructure.
Gemnet LLC is entitled to “Internet wholesale services,” “Digital Channel Rental Services,” “International Digital Channel Rental Services,” and “International Transit Channel Services” under the “А” category licenses issued by the Communications Regulatory Commission for “Establishment Ownership and Operation of Telecommunication Networks in the territory of Mongolia” and “ Provision of Transit Channel Leasing Services.”
Gemnet LLC connects with world-renowned Chinese operators of China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile and Russian operators of TransTelecom, RosTelecom and MegaFon through the international transmission network. Upstream, a major port owner in Asia, Europe and the USA receives fully secure international internet for ports, and provides secure external internet about 85% of Mongolia’s foreign internet market.
We have also successfully introduced Asia-Europe international transit services through Mongolia and are providing digital channel rental services between urban and rural areas to domestic consumers.
